Would Walmart tolerate a successful regional chain of discount stores popping up out of the ruins of retail that it now dominates? Do tech giants allow innovation outside of their campuses? Nope. It seems more than likely that WWE will do anything to co-opt the nascent new indy scene before it becomes an economic threat. What happens to them if too many people realize that their homogenized crap of a product is not all there is?
