Heavyweight Champion Chris Matrix Addresses The Fans

Chris Matrix speaks to Sergeant Muldoon about his thoughts on winning and keeping the Heavyweight title. This could be a long run.

Match 1. Carlos v. Diabolical Scott Ledeur (with Annabelle). W – Ledeur

Carlos once again shows that he can hang with the best. The youngster absorbed enormous amounts of punishment including several claws to the gut and hung tough. Scott shows his skills by escaping from a fireman’s carry and landing full force on Carlos for the pin.

Match 2. Blade Runner & Big Dog Butler v. MIA.  W – Blade Runner & Butler

We believe that this was the first pairing of the giant men, making this the biggest tag team in the Northeast with perhaps the exception of The Heavy Hitters. MIA is a team from New Zealand. They should have stayed in Kiwi land. MIA did their best but the big men beat them senseless. Despite their limited one-word vocabulary (OY! is all they can say) the men seemed to have some cohesion but had really no chance. Once they were immobilized Butler put the Kiwis on top of each other and splashed them for fun.

Zack Belair Addresses The Crowd

Mr. Belair is now known as Ruby Bastain (his father’s name). He appears to be angling to take over the company. Last night he challenged Gary Gold. Tonight he shot his mouth off and slapped the Sarge. He came up with a great burn on Carlos. “What do you see in that kid? He’s a charisma vacuum.” This is an audacious leap. Journeyman Referee to Power Broker is a stretch. Let’s see how he does.

Match 3. Sons of Liberty Tournament Match: Buck Nasty v. Kid Reflex Eric Dylan. W – Nasty

The Kid is back with his unique and interesting personal and wrestling style. Despite the vast weight difference, Reflex had Nasty on his heels in the early part of the match. Things went south for the kid when he tried to hit Nasty with his removed boot. Unseen by Referee Warren, Buck took the footwear and used it on Dylan.

Match 4. King Leon VI v. “The Bitter Man” Buddy Romano. W – Buddy Romano (DQ)

King Leon VI entered with the pomp and circumstance befitting a royal personage. He made the Sarge read a scroll with his manifesto. Predictably he disparaged the fans as peasants and the venue as a “shack”. Romano had difficulty with the monarch given his unorthodox style and the size difference. In the end Buddy outsmarted the King. Leon tried to take Romano out with his royal scepter. Buddy got it away from him, threw it back to His Highness, made a slap sound, and hit the floor on his back. When the dazed referee looked she called a DQ. Romano advances in the tournament.

Match 5. Tag Team Championship: Team #1 (Richie Rich & Superstar Shawn Candido) v. The Stacked Deck (Chris Cruise & Mike Montero) v. Mack Attack (Monster Mack & Trainee #1). W – Team #1

3 Teams each totally qualified to be the Champions. The problem is with all the variables in a 6-man contest it’s virtually impossible to outsmart Candido and Rich. Team #1 brilliantly wins by spoiling Cruise’s attempted drop of Montero onto Monster Mack with a boot to the back. Candido swooped in to pin Monster Mack. Pure Genius.
