Ring Announcer: Shane Daly
Commentary: Atlee Greene, Derek Simonetti
Referees: Red Roche, Rob Tuttle, Rob Sandow
The Boss: Dean “The Beast” Livesly
Professor’s Notes: We made the acquaintance of NCW President Livesly and had an interesting conversation on his history and current involvement with the company. Will Mike Paiva come out of retirement? Shane Daly elbows his competition aside. Is biting legal? The Lumberjake shows why he dominates NCW.
1. Sensational Scott Levesque v. RIOT Kellan Thomas. W – Thomas
The Premiere Wrestler of New England faced the man whose neck he broke. Thomas was out for blood. He’s a legend himself, and the tussle was extreme. Thomas seemed bent on hurting Levesque’s neck as revenge, both men trading neck breakers and bulldogs throughout the match. RIOT managed to get the pin somehow.
2. #1 Contenders Tag Team Elimination Match. Timmy Thunder & Connor Davies v. Curry Boy & Insane Dick Lane v. Frank The Crank & Casey Courageous v. The Underground Anarchy (Ike & Tim Davidson with Dallas McCarthy) v. Crossfit (Dan Terry & Vern Vicallo). W – Crossfit
The first matchup was Thunder & Davies v. Curry Boy & Lane. Davies rolled up Curry Boy using his tights unseen by the referee. Perfectly fair. Second matchup – Thunder & Davies v. Frank & Courageous. Frank did his best to direct his protegé but Davies pinned the youth relatively easily. Third matchup – Thunder & Davies v. Crossfit. Thunder and Davies did a great job of double teaming Vicallo but The Fittest Man in The world got the pin by sitting on Davies. Fourth matchup – Crossfit v. The Underground Anarchy. It seemed for a time that UA might prevail until Ike decided to go for a high spot. Dan Terry grabbed him by the crotch and power bombed him. Terry finished things by pinning Davidson.
3. Chris Cruise (with Amanda Fox) v. Robbie “The Giant” Araujo. W – Cruise
We hadn’t seen The Giant for almost a year. He looked in top form. Since Ms. Fox decided to taunt him with “ankle biter” he gave her what she asked for. He bit Cruise repeatedly on the hands, ankles, and posterior. At one point he rode Cruise like a horse, which upset Cruise visibly. Things fell apart when Cruise missed a spot and accidentally super kicked Amanda on the apron. She fell to the floor out cold. Cruise was unaware of her condition as he and The Giant traded sunset flips, culminating with a Cruise pin with feet on the ropes.
4. Todd Harris (with Royalty Ruy Butello) v. Foxy Calvin Campbell (with Doctor Ozone). W – Campbell
Both managers interfered as much as they could, each putting his man’s feet on the ropes to save them from a certain pin. Bulldog was the primary move of this match, being meted out by both men in equal measure. Calvin got the pin on young Harris while Doctor Ozone stole the Ox Baker cup and used it to get a drink at the bar.
President Livesly with Perry Von Vicious & Tomahawk
Perry Von Vicious presented Tomahawk with a contract to sign for the purchase of the New England Championship. As Tomahawk prepared to sign, President Livesly made known his strong objections to the deal. Tomahawk ended up refusing to sign and as he explained his reasoning, Zachary Pierre Beaulieu Pearl Harbored The Indian Warrior. President Livesly put a stop to the action and announced a three-way match later in the evening to settle the issue.
The Lumberjake & Mike Montero Spot
Montero is insane. He obviously never heard the saying “Don’t poke the bear”. The Lumberjake decided to choke out the smaller wrestler. Montero paid for his insolence later in the show.
5. New England Championship: Tomahawk (C) v. Zachary Pierre Beaulieu v. Perry Von Vicious. W – Tomahawk
Von Vicious and Beaulieu waited just outside the curtain to ambush Tomahawk. The Indian Warrior fooled them and got them from behind when he ran in through the back entrance. Despite a two-on-one advantage Tomahawk keeps his belt by pinning Beaulieu.
6. Tag Team Championship: Kool People (DJ AC & Sammy Deleon) v. Makua & Dan Ram Ramirez (C). W – Kool People
Ramirez and Makua took the titles from TKP in Somerville a few weeks ago. This was TKP’s rematch. As Deleon and AC waited for their opponents in the ring, Makua appeared without his partner. Shay Cash came through the curtain with a disabled Ramirez held by the hair. He did something to him backstage apparently. Makua decided to defend the titles solo which proved to be a terrible mistake. He had no real chance against two big angry men. Cash distracts, and The Kool People double team Makua for the pin.
7. The Uncontrolled v. Delilah Hayden (with Curry Boy). W – The Uncontrolled
This incarnation of Steve Weiner is new to us. He seems to have completely lost his grounding in reality and decency. The Uncontrolled has possession of Insane Dick Lane’s glove, which gives him a level of super power to remotely attack his opponents. Weiner overpowered Delilah and duct taped her to the top rope. He proceeded to bring out a whip. Curry Boy intervened but was thwarted by the power of the glove. The Uncontrolled decided to throw (either Delilah or Curry Boy, we can’t quite recall) into Play-by-Play Man Atlee Greene, who was bounced off the wall and apparently injured. He also knocked cold President Livesly who tried to stop him from using a motorcycle chain on Ms. Hayden. Dick Lane finally saved everyone. This was a despicable set of acts by the former Turtle.
8. Heavyweight Championship: The Lumberjake (C) v. Mike Montero. W – The Lumberjake
The Lumberjake wasted no time. He drove Montero crotch-first into three ring posts in succession. Montero did surprisingly well despite the size differential. He had The Champion on his heels for a lot of the match. At one point The Lumberjake sent Montero into Referee Roche, stunning him. Montero tried to pull a fast one by tossing the belt to The Lumberjake and faking that he had been hit with it. Roche wasn’t buying. The Lumberjake tied Montero up in a muscle buster and dropped him from six feet on his back followed by a pin. He did it again for fun after the bell.
